The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

Hazard Statements
Danger. Highly flammable liquid and vapor. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Causes serious eye irritation. Harmful if inhaled. May cause respiratory irritation. Suspected of causing genetic defects. May cause cancer. Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child. May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
Precautionary Statements
Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not breathe gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Use personal protective equipment as required. Keep cool.
Response
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs, seek medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
IF exposed or concerned: Get medical attention/advice. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Get medical attention/advice if you feel unwell. Specific treatment see label. In case of fire, use dry chemical powder to extinguish.
Storage
Store container tightly closed in well-ventilated place. Store locked up.
Disposal
Dispose of contents/container according to local, state and federal regulations.
DANGER! FLAMMABLE. KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT, SPARKS, FLAME AND ALL OTHER SOURCES OF IGNITION. VAPORS MAY CAUSE FLASH FIRE OR IGNITE EXPLOSIVELY. VAPORS MAY TRAVEL LONG DISTANCES TO OTHER AREAS AND ROOMS AWAY FROM WORK SITE. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights, and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and all other sources of ignition anywhere in the structure, dwelling or building during use and until vapors are gone from the work site and all areas away from work site. Keep away from electrical outlets and switches. Beware of static electricity that may be generated by synthetic clothing and other sources.
USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION TO PREVENT BUILDUP OF VAPORS. Whenever possible, use maintain a strong ventilation of moving fresh air through the work area. If strong odor is noticed or you experience slight dizziness, headache, nausea or eye-watering - STOP - ventilation is inadequate. Leave area immediately. If the work area is not well ventilated you MUST use a properly fitted and maintained NIOSH approved respirator for organic solvent vapors. A dust mask does not provide protection against vapors.
DANGER! HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. VAPOR HARMFUL. SKIN AND EYE IRRITANT. Contains Dimethyl Ether, Xylene, Ethyl Benzene, Styrene and Toluene. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvents with neurological and other physiological damage. Intentional misuse of this product by deliberately concentrating and inhaling vapors can be harmful or fatal. Do not take internally. Avoid breathing of vapors or mist and contact with skin and eyes. Close container and store upright after each use. Do not reuse this container. WARNING: Using this product will expose you to chemicals which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm -

Potential Health Effects
Eye Contact: This material is an eye irritant. May cause irritation, stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, pain and blurred vision.
Skin Contact: Harmful is absorbed through the skin. Contact with the skin may cause mild to moderate skin irritation, defatting and drying of the skin, and allergic dermatitis. Symptoms may include redness, swelling, and burning of the skin.
Inhalation: Vapors can be harmful if inhaled. Effects from exposure may include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and nausea. High concentrations may result in central nervous system depression, irritation to the respiratory tract, and pulmonary edema.
Ingestion: Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Effects from exposure through ingestion may include gastrointestinal disturbances, pain, discomfort, gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, irritation to the mouth, throat, and stomach. Other effects may produce central nervous system effects, such as dizziness, loss of balance and coordination, unconsciousness, coma, and even death. -
Chronic health effects
From SDS:
Prolonged or repeated overexposure may cause central nervous system, kidney, liver, and lung damage. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvents with neurological and other physiological damage.
